Irish Moss

Irish Moss, also known as Carrageen Moss, or Chondrus Crispus, is a red seaweed that grows mainly in the waters along the coasts of Great Britain. It also grows along the coasts of Iceland, Spain, the western Baltic Sea and on the Atlantic coasts of Canada and the United States.
It is used in cosmetics because it has film-forming action and moisturizing, emollient, soothing and softening properties. It feels silky and non-greasy on the skin.
