Carrot

The carrot (Daucus carota L.) is herbaceous plant with a green stem. This common vegetable belongs to the Apiaceae family: its name comes from the greek word "Karoton". Carrots grown throughout temperate regions all over the world. Carrots are rich in Vitamin A (beta carotene), B, C, PP, D and E, as well as several other minerals. Eating carrots strengthens the body's immune system carrots infectious diseases. Because they contains Vitamin A and E, they're used as an antioxidant and for reducing the harmful effects of prolonged sunlight exposure.
In addition to being famously known for being good for eyesight, carrots help get rid of excess body liquids and improves urinary tract function. They eliminate intestinal gas and favor digestive function.
