Olive Tree

The Olive Tree (Olea europaea L, 1753) is a fruit plant. It originally comes from the Near East and has been used since ancient times in food. It’s a medium-sized tree with a gnarled trunk and spare foliage. Its flowers are small, whitish, and gathered in clusters. Its leaves are lance shaped, are about 5-8 cm long, and green but are silvery at the bottom because of the presence of tiny furry hairs. Dry Olive leaf extract promotes blood pressure regularity, blood circulation and helps metabolize lipids and carbohydrates. It also has antioxidant properties.
