Hedge Mustard

Hedge Mustard (Sisymbrium officinale) is a plant that belongs to the Brassicaceae or Crocofere family.  It is commonly found in uncultivated lands and close to residential areas in Europe, while in the American continent is known, but not widely used. Its leaves and flowers are used in herbal medicine. It is otherwise known as "singer’s grass", because it’s used against aphonia. It does in fact possess calming properties that soothe the oropharyngeal mucosa that helps improve voice tone. It contributes to overall upper respiratory tract function.
