Ginseng

Ginseng (Panax L.) is a genus of 11 species of slow-growing perennial plants with fleshy roots that belong to the Araliaceae family. Panax is a Latin term that comes from the Greek words pan (all) and akeia (care), or rather "remedy for every disease", from which we derive the word "panacea". Ginseng is a Chinese word that means "plant of man." Ginseng root is edible and is characterized by the presence of ginsenosides: it’s tonic, adaptogenic, antioxidant, and is an excellent remedy for physical and mental fatigue.
