Acerola

Acerola (Malpighia glabra L.) is a plant that grows wild in Central and South America and in Brazil. Acerola fruits are called "Barbados cherries" because of their appearance. It is known for its high vitamin C content: from 30 to 50 times higher than what is found in oranges; therefore, it’s a potent immune system booster, tonic and antioxidant.
