We are aware of how crucial employee satisfaction is in order to ensure quality and productivity, and we know that it is greatly influenced by the work-life balance. Implementing innovative incentive policies and tools aimed at increasing personal and family well-being and improving the work-life balance is part of our commitment.

PRODUCT QUALITY AND SAFETY
We have great responsibilities, and quality is one of them; this has always been one of our core values at ESI, bringing us closer to our consumers.

Our results:

ISO 9001:2015: Certification attesting the overall quality of ESI production.

FSSC 22000: Food safety certification based on ISO 22000:2018.

CLINICALLY TESTED: clinical evaluation carried out by universities, research institutes and hospitals certifying the efficacy and safety of our products.

Creation of the Quality and Food Safety Management System (SGQSA), also compliant with the international standard UNI EN ISO 22000:2018.
RISK REDUCTION
Ensuring healthy and safe workplaces for all employees is an unparalleled commitment for us. A thorough analysis of the risks involved with company activities and their accurate assessment are essential tools for preventing, controlling and facing hazards.

Our results:

We established a Health and Safety Management System, according to Italian regulations, particularly in compliance with Legislative Decree No. 81 of April 9, 2008, and the regulations referred to therein;

We established several internal procedures for emergency management (Covid-19, flood, fire..) in order to safely perform all activities;

We installed a high-power extraction system to minimise the risks coming from powdered product lines;
Our goals:
reducing physical exertion in production and warehouse activities by using specific machinery that supports the operator while working.

OCCUPATIONAL WELL-BEING AND CORPORATE WELFARE
We promote a welcoming, stimulating and positive work environment with programs designed to ensure full respect for the right to health and the protection of well-being.

Our results:

We improved the way we use the company welfare plan: empolyees now have the optionof choosing non-affiliated providers,requesting reimbursement for the costs incurred for the service they used.

We invest in training and professional growth: In 2024 we provided 1,638 hours of training, equivalent to an average of 14 hours per employee.

Healt insurrance provided for by the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for the Food Industry, throught the Fasa Fund, is currently covered by us. We have signedan agreement with a medical center near our headquarters: this way employees receive discounted prices on various types of medical services.
Our goals:
Maintaining the corporate welfare plan, supported by specific training activities to make it more employee-friendly;

SUPPORTING THE LOCAL COMMUNITY
In 2024, we contributed to various causes by donating our products, making financial contributions, and purchasing useful products.

We have supported the "Chicchi di Riso" E.T.S. Association, which organises educational and social activities, with three sponsorships to support the development of its activities for children.

We have also supported the Unione Sportiva Catanzaro 1929 S.r.l. by contributing to the enhancement of sport as a means for social inclusion and wellbeing.

We have contributed to the promotion of local sport by supporting the A.S.D. Atletica Savona in an event held on the 15th of May 2024, while the ASD Albissole 1909 football club has been supported on two occasions throughout the 2024-2025 sports season.

We have continued to support the Fondazione Pace e Bene, a charity that helps individuals and groups all over Italy and internationally. The Foundation works to protect and promote environment safeguard, favour people’s development, provide physical, mental, financial, cultural and social wellbeing.

We have donated products to a great deal of charities, associations and schools, such as the Cresci con Noi Association, the Noi4You Association, the Banco Farmaceutico, the Caritas of Savona, the Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption in Albissola Marina, the Savona nel Cuore Association, the Ades Association, the Istituto Comprensivo delle Albisole and the Mazzini – Da Vinci high school in Savona. Our donations have contributed to designing and implementing educational, healthcare and social support projects, offering tangible aid to children, families and people in need.
