Origin
ESI has been operating in the food supplements sector since 1975. Initially, the ESI brand referred to a range of patented formulations imported directly from Switzerland.
The company subsequently decided to develop and produce innovative formulations in line with the latest scientific research and market demands.
The company was founded in Albissola Marina, on the western Ligurian coast, at the foot of the hills and just 800 metres from the sea.
Here, a cutting-edge research and production centre was established to create food supplements that combine the benefits of nature with the effectiveness of science.
Growth
ESI has established itself as a leader in the development, production and distribution of high-quality food supplements, formulated with the aim of providing a comprehensive solution to people’s health and wellbeing needs.
The company continues to grow whilst remaining true to its ties with the local area and its people, promoting sustainable industrial development. Distribution has always been focused exclusively on physical and online pharmacies, parapharmacies and herbalists, in Italy and increasingly at an international level too.
Evolution
In 2019 ESI® joined the Sodalis Group, Italian leader in the Health, Beauty & Personal Care.
With the aim of continuing to support the brand’s growth and further enhancing the company’s efficiency and quality, we have built a new, state-of-the-art production facility covering an area of over 20,000 square metres.
Today, we are one of Italy’s leading companies in the food supplements sector, and our products are internationally recognised for their quality, safety and effectiveness.
