The highest quality production standards are the result of state-of-the-art production facilities and research, development and control carried out in state-of-the-art laboratories. ESI's scrupulous controls begin with the raw materials: the Quality Control Laboratory is directly responsible for organoleptic, chemical-physical and microbiological analyses.
Origin
Since 1975 ESI® has been operative in the field of phyto therapeutic, dietary and natural food products.At the beginning, the ESI® brand identified licensed formulations imported from Switzerland; later it was decided to develop and produce innovative formulations in line with the latest scientific research and market demands.Since its foundation, ESI® has maintained links with its territory and people, promoting sustainable industrial development. The brand-new production facility is located in the western Ligurian Riviera, in Albissola Marina, surrounded by green hills, just 800 metres from the sea.
Growth
We develop and produce our dietary supplements in-house. Our business focuses on the development, distribution and marketing of quality products, created and formulated with the aim of offering a complete solution to consumers' health and wellness needs. We have chosen to distribute our products exclusively through sales channels such as physical and online pharmacies, parapharmacies and herbalist shops. This choice was dictated by our desire to position our products in points of sale that are attentive to consumers' needs, with whom we can build a relationship of trust. Our products are internationally recognised for their quality, safety and effectiveness.
Evolution
In 2019 ESI® joined the Sodalis Group, Italian leader in the Health, Beauty & Personal Care international market, with over 20 owned brands,1 800 employees, 5 research laboratories, 5 production facilities and 9 foreign branches. Thanks to this new business structure, the company has acquired a new important expertise in the world of high-end dermo cosmetics, and a new production factory, spread over an area of 20,000 square metres with brand-new production facilities, has been recently inaugurated.
