CERTIFICATIONS

As a leader in our sector, we have pursued the certification process for our quality management system, placing ourselves in direct dialogue with consumers. With the aim of guaranteeing our consumers products of the highest standards of quality and reliability, over the years we have collaborated with universities, research centres and international organisations to create innovative products with a lower environmental impact; this commitment and focus have enabled us to obtain various certifications and awards. ESI quality is highly certified by independent certification bodies and the Ministry of Health.

1995: authorisation from the Ministry of Health to manufacture dietary products and supplements.
FSSC 22000 is a food safety certification scheme based on the internationally recognised ISO 22000:2018 standard, supplemented by the relevant technical standards ISO/TS 22002-1:2009 and the additional requirements of FSSC 22000 ver. 6.
The International Fish Oil Standards is the most important certification for Omega-3 products. Following a rigorous testing protocol, Omega-3 Extra Pure has been awarded 5 IFOS stars, guaranteeing consumers the quality, safety and purity of the product.
CERTIQUALITY is a non-profit organisation serving businesses, accredited to certify management systems for quality, the environment and safety, as well as product certification. Certiquality certifies and guarantees the ESI® Aloe Vera juice range:
– Product free from pesticide residues or chemical fertilisers
– Polysaccharide content of not less than 7,000 mg/litre
ESI® collaborates with universities, research institutes and hospitals, both in Italy and abroad, to test the efficacy and safety of its products. A new capsule made from a plant fibre obtained through the fermentation of tapioca, making it completely natural and free from artificial colourings, easily digestible, and suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
NATURCAPS® RETARD BIFASICA: a technology patented by ESI® that ensures the body can utilise the nutrients gradually and fully. The special capsule contains 4 microtablets which may also be enteric-coated; these disintegrate at different rates, allowing for a gradual and constant
release of the active ingredients they contain and ensuring the body has sufficient time to absorb and transport the active ingredients throughout the body, thus providing a prolonged effect (known as the RETARD effect).
In light of the increasing prevalence of coeliac disease and gluten intolerance, all ESI® products are labelled ‘gluten-free’; that is to say, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 41/2009 and the subsequent Regulation (EU) No 828/2014, they contain less than 20 ppm (0.002%) of gluten and are therefore suitable for people with coeliac disease. The absence of gluten is therefore clearly indicated on ESI® product packaging by means of an easily recognisable symbol.
To supplement the information regarding ESI® products, consumers willfind a small symbol on the packaging indicating whether the product is suitable for vegetarians and/or vegans, based on the origin of the raw materials contained therein.

All products leaving the new production site in Albissola Marina undergo rigorous analytical testing to verify that their quality parameters comply with the standards set by various national and international directives.
We have significant responsibilities, and quality is one of them; a value that has always been at the heart of ESI, enabling us to forge a connection with our customers. We have fully complied with the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) system standards, introducing a Company Self-Monitoring Plan that enables us to manage the production, storage and transport of products in full compliance with current regulations. In 1999, we developed a Quality Management System, now certified to the UNI ISO 9001:2015 standard, to guarantee the quality of our products and the supply chain, from formulation through production to marketing; this is a clear demonstration of our commitment to this process. Operating through a certified quality management
system means being able to offer products and services that comply with
legislation and specific regulations but, above all, responding precisely and
effectively to consumers’ expectations and needs
