Ferrolin orodispersible stick packs

Ferrolin C orodispersible stick packs is a food supplement containing Iron, Vitamin C, Folic acid (folate) and vitamin B12. It is useful for providing an additional intake of these nutrients in case of dietary deficiencies or increased organic needs. Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin, and to the normal transport of oxygen throughout the body. Together with vitamins C, Vitamin B12, and folate, it contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Furthermore, iron contributes to normal energy metabolism and normal cognitive function. Vitamin C enhances the absorption of Iron. Supplemental intake of folic acid increases maternal folate status. A low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the foetus*. Folate contributes to normal haematopoiesis and to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy. Vitamin B12 also contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells.

 

 

Take 1 to 2 orodispersible stick packs per day.*For women of childbearing age, the beneficial effect is achieved with a daily supplemental folic acid intake of 400 micrograms (equivalent to 2 orodispersible stick packs) for at least one month before and up to three months after conception.

 

Keep out of reach of children under three years of age. Do not exceed the daily recommended dose. Food supplements should not be considered a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Pregnant women are advised to seek medical advice before taking.
