Omega 7: Fatty Acids for Skin and Mucous Membranes

Omega 7 fatty acids is a class of monounsaturated fatty acids. The two most common types are Omega 7 palmitoleic acid and vaccenic acid. Palmitoleic acid is mainly found in an oil that is derived from sea buckthorn berries, and smaller amount is found in macadamia oil. This oil is rich in beta-carotene, lycopene and vitamin E, which are antioxidant substances.
