Jojoba Oil: Skin and Hair Hydration
Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) is a shrub that is native to the desert areas of Arizona, southern California, and northwestern Mexico. It’s the only species of the genus Simmondsia and the Simmondsiaceae family. Jojoba oil is extracted from its seeds. It is a wax, which at room temperature is liquid and is equal to 50% of the seed’s weight. Jojoba Oil deeply moisturizes the skin and lips in addition to preventing and fighting lip dryness and irritation.
