Diaminopyrimidine is a compound that includes two amino groups and a pyrimidine ring. It’s a molecule that is well known for the multiple effects it has on hair follicles. It's used in hair loss treatments because it seems to inhibit the enzyme synthesis at the base of collagen hardening (a phenomenon linked aging hair roots) which let hair’s life cycle to be prolonged. It’s helpful for stimulating the anagen phase (hair growth) and stimulating dormant follicles so that they once again become active.
