Bacillus Coagulans is a bacterial species from the genus Bacillus. This organism was isolated and described as Bacillus coagulans for the first time in 1915 by B.W. Hammer. Because it has some typical features of both Lactobacillus and Bacillus, its exact title was debated at length, until it was finally classified as Bacillus. It is a rod-bacteria, gram-positive, member of the phylum Firmicutes. Coagulans Bacillus Spores favour the balance of the intestinal flora.
