Epilobium

Epilobium (Epilobium angustifolium L.) is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Onagraceae family. Extremely adaptable, it grows in temperate and cold climates, in both hemispheres. Originally from Austria, it can be found along the banks of streams and in mountain areas. For this reason, it is also commonly called "mountain carnation", or "narrow-leaved epilobium", due to the size and shape of its leaves. 

Thanks to the flavonoids it contains, in particular the hyperoside, this herb is used to improve the functionality of the prostate.
