Chilli
Chilli (Capsicum annuum) is an upright shrub with green lanceolate leaves. It is a plant belonging to the Solanaceae family, native to America but currently grown all over the world.
Its fruit, used as a food since ancient times, is rich in Capsaicin, an active ingredient used today in phytotherapy, because it stimulates the metabolism and has an antioxidant action.
