Vitamin B2 or Riboflavin

Vitamin B2, or riboflavin, was isolated for the first time in 1927 and initially was called Vitamin G. Later it was discovered that milk has high concentrations of this substance and, for this reason, for a while it was called lactoflavin. Vitamin B2 helps to normalize the energy metabolism and nervous system functioning; it maintains normal red blood cell count, healthy skin, normal vision; it regulates iron metabolism, protects cells from oxidative stress and reduces tiredness and fatigue.
