Senna

Senna (Cassia angustifolia Mill.) is a plant that belongs (according to the majority of scholars) to the Cesalpinioidee family, which is a subfamily of the Fabaceae family (or Leguminosae). The attribution of whether this species is part of the genus Cassia or genus Senna is usually a subject of debate among scholars. The pulp is extracted from the pods and used in herbal medicine because it improves the intestinal transit.
