Plum

Plum (or prunes) is the fruit that comes from the European plum tree, or European Plum (Prunus domestica L.), a plant that comes from the Rosaceae family. The tree is umbrella shaped, it’s sometimes knotty, and has white flowers that bloom at the beginning of spring. Its fruit is oval or sphere shaped, and can be different sizes depending on the species and usually has a sweet flavor. Both prunes and prune juice help keep bowel movements regular.
