Phosphorus

Phosphorus is a chemical element. Its symbol is P and its atomic number is 15. It’s a non-metal that belongs to the nitrogen group. It’s not found in nature in the elemental state, but in the form of phosphate (salt of phosphoric acid), which is abundant in some rocks and cells of living beings and is an essential component of their metabolism.
85% of it is present in bone tissue, 15% in soft tissue and in extracellular fluids.
Phosphorus contributes to keep energy levels balanced, maintains normal bone and tooth health and is especially important for children’s bone development.
