Panthenol

Panthenol is a derivative of pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5). Vitamin B5 can be found in certain foods such as: liver, brewer's yeast, wheat bran, sesame seeds, royal jelly. Smaller amounts of vitamin B6 can be found in: sunflower seeds, soy beans, eggs, peas, legumes. Panthenol has similar traits to Vitamin B5 and chemical-physical traits that make it easy to use, such as the fact that it’s water soluble. It has anti-static properties and regulates the natural moisture level in hair.
