Noni and its therapeutic qualities

Noni (Morinda citrifolia L.) is an evergreen plant that belongs to the Rubiaceae family. It is native to Southeast Asia, which is a tropical and warm climate, and is also known as Indian Mulberry.

Its Latin genus name is Morinda which is derived from the words "morus" (mulberry) and "India." The term "citrifolia" refers to the leaves, which resembles lemon (Citrus) leaves; however, the Polynesian name is the one most commonly used, that is, Noni.

Noni juice is used in herbal medicine because it improves the immune system.
