Green coffee

Coffee is a beverage that’s obtained by roasting and grinding the seeds of some species of tropical trees that belong to the genus Coffea (from the Rubiaceae family). The most common species that are used to make coffee are: Coffea arabica, canephora and liberica. Green Coffee is also named after the seeds, but in this case, because they’re raw and un-roasted, they’re still green. They aren’t the usual dark brown color that is due to roasting. Unlike toasted coffee, Green Coffee has a lower concentration of caffeine and a higher content in chlorogenic acid, an antioxidant belongs to the polyphenols family. Thanks to this active ingredient it has toning properties and provides metabolic support. Green coffee also has antioxidant properties,  it stimulates the metabolism and is a great weight loss supplement.
