Linseeds

Linen (Linum usitatissimun L.) is a plant that belongs to the Linaceae family. In ancient times, vast quantities were grown in Ethiopia and Egypt. Both its seeds and its fiber are used. Linen Oil is obtained from both the plant’s flour and the Flax oil. The "usitatissimum" adjective of the scientific name highlights the many way it’s used: in foods, cosmetics and in textiles. Flax seed oil is an oil obtained by cold pressing previously dried or roasted linseeds. It’s particularly rich in Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids, and Vitamins E and F. It’s used for cosmetic purposes to enhance hair strength and shine.
