Creatine

Creatine (from the Greek word "Kreas", which means “meat”) is an intermediate energy compound that is synthesized by the liver and is used by the muscles to regenerate adenosine triphosphate (ADP), a coenzyme that gives energy.
It is the basis of many supplements used by athletes, especially for non-aerobic fitness, such as bodybuilding and weightlifting.
Creatine, in fact, increases physical performance when doing short, high intensity repetitive exercises.
