Cranberry

Cranberries (Vaccinium macrocarpon Ait.) belong to the Ericaceae family. The plant is an evergreen native of Canada and the northeastern areas of the United States. The fruit is used in phytotherapy because of its high content in proanthocyanidins, which help drain body liquids and improve urinary tract function. Cranberry also improves the body's immune system and the bladder environment.
