Chitosan

Chitosan is a polysaccharide derived from the deacetylation of chitin, a polymer contained in the shells of crustaceans (crabs, shrimp, etc.) which is necessary for five hardness and strength.
Chitosan has the ability to attract oily substances and fats, and in turn, gets rid of them. It helps maintain normal cholesterol levels in the blood.
